Which AI models does Oginify use to generate OG images?
Every card is rendered by a frontier image model — Google Gemini 3 Pro Image for the on-brand cover, Gemini 3.1 Flash Image for high-volume everyday runs, and OpenAI GPT-Image-2 when typography needs to be razor sharp.
How does Oginify pull my brand colors and copy from a URL?
A Firecrawl pass fetches the live page, its metadata, palette and hero copy. Gemini 3 Flash then distills that into a brief the image model can paint from.
Do I need my own API keys for OpenAI, Gemini or Firecrawl?
No. Oginify pays for and manages every upstream model and API. You just paste a URL or a prompt and get a share-ready PNG back.
Can I choose which image model runs?
Yes. In the generator you can switch between Fast (Gemini) and Precise (GPT-Image-2). Fast is quicker and cheaper; Precise handles small text and complex layouts better.
Is my page content sent to third parties?
The page URL is passed to Firecrawl for capture, and the derived brief is sent to Google or OpenAI to render the image. Providers only retain data per their standard API terms.
Will you add more models or integrations later?
Yes. We swap in newer image and language models as they ship, and a public API is on the roadmap so teams can pipe Oginify into their own CMS or build pipelines.
