Credits, quotas, refunds and how the free tier actually works.
How much does it cost to generate one Open Graph image?
On the free tier, nothing — 6 images per day are included. On pay-as-you-go, credits work out to roughly $0.05–$0.08 per image depending on pack size. On subscription, monthly cost divided by monthly quota lands in the same range for teams shipping 200+ images a month.
Do unused credits or images roll over to the next month?
Pay-as-you-go credits never expire — buy 500, use them across a year, no problem. Subscription monthly quota does not roll over: unused images on a plan reset at the billing anniversary. Mix the two if your usage is spiky (subscription for baseline + PAYG for spikes).
What happens when I run out of credits mid-project?
The generator stays open but the generate button is disabled. You can top up a PAYG pack from the same screen and continue in the same session — the URL you were working on stays loaded. Nothing is lost, no re-fetch of your page, no re-paste of the URL.
Can I get a refund on unused credits?
Yes — pay-as-you-go packs are refundable for the unused portion within 30 days of purchase; subscription plans are refundable pro-rata within 14 days of the most recent charge. Email hello@oginify.com from the account address and we process it within one business day.
Is there a free tier or trial without a credit card?
Yes. Sign up with email or Google, no card required, and generate up to 6 images per day forever. Free-tier PNGs are watermark-free, 1200×630 at native resolution, and yours to host on any CDN — the free tier is a real tier, not a limited demo.
Do you offer a team plan or volume pricing?
Yes. The Team plan pools quota across up to five seats and includes shared billing. Above ~2,000 images per month, contact us for a volume rate — most agencies land in that tier and pay per-image less than the largest listed pack.
