Open Graph Cards by Visual Style

Pick the visual language your brand already sounds like — Swiss, brutalist, magazine, cinematic, terminal — and share in it.

By Style FAQ

How to pick a visual style that earns the click in feeds full of soft gradients.

When does style matter more than headline?

Once your card competes in a busy feed — Twitter, LinkedIn, Slack at scale. The right style is a 2–3× CTR lever before you touch the words. In a quiet DM, style barely matters; in a scroll, style is the whole game.

Are these styles tied to specific content types?

They're tied to tone, not topic. Terminal reads as technical whether it's docs or a manifesto; magazine reads as long-form whether it's a fashion brand or a Substack. Pick by the feeling you want the click to have.

Can I invent my own style?

Yes — the six styles are seeds, not the whole space. On the home painter, the wildcard slots explore adjacent directions; on the API, you can pass custom style hints per URL. Once a custom style earns its click-through, we're happy to fold it into the library.
