Terms of service

By accessing or using oginify.com (the "Service") you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Oginify is a free AI tool that generates 1200×630 Open Graph images from URLs, text prompts, or uploaded images. A fair-use limit of 6 generations per browser per day applies. We may change or remove features at any time.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service (16 in the European Economic Area). By using Oginify you confirm you meet this requirement.

Oginify does not require sign-up. You are solely responsible for the URLs, prompts, and images you submit and for any output you choose to publish.

You agree not to use Oginify to:

• Generate illegal content of any kind, including CSAM.
• Generate content that infringes third-party rights (copyright, trademark, right of publicity, privacy).
• Submit URLs you do not have the right to fetch.
• Scrape, mirror, or rebuild a competing service from Oginify's output.
• Bypass, automate around, or attempt to circumvent the daily fair-use quota or any rate limit.
• Interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the Service.

We may block IP addresses or sessions that violate these rules.

You retain ownership of the URLs, prompts, and images you submit. You grant Oginify a limited, request-scoped, worldwide, royalty-free license to fetch, store in memory, and forward that content to our AI providers solely to render results for you.

You own the images Oginify generates for you and may use them commercially. Because output is AI-generated from third-party model providers, you are solely responsible for verifying that any output is free of third-party rights issues before publishing it — for example, trademarks, copyrighted imagery, recognizable likenesses, or brand assets you do not own.

Output is probabilistic and may contain visual artifacts, mis-rendered text, factual inaccuracies, or unexpected content. Always review output before using it in a published context. Oginify makes no guarantee that any specific generation will be accurate, appropriate, or fit for a particular purpose.

Generated images are produced via Google's Gemini models and OpenAI's gpt-image-2, accessed through the Lovable AI Gateway. Their terms and content policies apply to the generation of model output. Hosting is provided by Cloudflare and backend services by Supabase via Lovable Cloud.

The Service is provided free of charge on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or any service level. We may rate-limit, suspend, modify, or discontinue any feature at any time without notice or liability.

The Oginify name, logo, site design, source code, marketing copy, template gallery, and curated examples are the property of the operator of Oginify. You may not copy, repackage, or resell them. Open-source components are governed by their respective licenses.

We may suspend or block access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, including for violations of Section 5. You may stop using the Service at any time simply by closing it.

Termination does not affect provisions that by their nature should survive — including Sections 7 (Generated output), 8 (AI disclaimer), 11 (Intellectual property), 13 (Disclaimer of warranties), 14 (Limitation of liability), and 15 (Indemnity).

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total cumulative liability of the operator of Oginify arising out of or related to your use of the Service is limited to USD $100. In no event will the operator be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR DAMAGES. IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS, THE OPERATOR'S LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW AND THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of Oginify from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) content you submit to the Service, (b) your use of generated output, or (c) your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The exclusive forum for any dispute is the state and federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware.

Where Delaware jurisdiction is not available to a party, the parties consent to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Hangzhou, People's Republic of China as the alternate forum.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you believe content generated or fetched by Oginify infringes your copyright, send a written notice to the same address including: (a) the work allegedly infringed, (b) the URL of the allegedly infringing output, (c) your contact details, (d) a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized, and (e) your physical or electronic signature. We will review and respond within 30 days.
